Endeavor Eye Center is an independent, family owned business serving the eye and vision needs of Tacoma and surrounding communities. We are pleased to offer a wide range of optometric services for the entire family, including eyeglasses, specialty eyewear, frames, contact lenses, medical eye services, and emergency eye treatment. Our mission is to provide the highest quality care to everyone of all ages and make your experience a great one!

Connie Lee, OD, FAAO, FCOVD

Dr. Lee received her undergraduate degree from the University of Ottawa in Canada and her Doctor of Optometry from The New England College of Optometry. Her clinical training includes rotations through Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, South Boston Community Health Center, and residency training in pediatrics, vision therapy, binocular vision disorders, and traumatic brain injury under the mentorship of Dr. Curtis Baxstrom.  She is also a past clinical instructor of Pacific University College of Optometry at Forest Grove, Oregon. Dr. Lee is board certified, a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry, and a Fellow of the College of Optometrists in Vision Development (www.covd.org).

Dr. Lee strives to make every patient’s visit an enjoyable experience, making sure every patient has his or her questions answered.

When away from the office, Dr. Lee enjoys cooking, traveling, and spending time with her husband and two children. In addition to English, she is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and Taiwanese.

Kevin Chuang, OD, MS, FAAO

Dr. Chuang received his undergraduate degree from the University of California, Berkeley and his Doctor of Optometry and Master of Science degrees from The New England College of Optometry. His clinical training included rotations thorough Boston’s South End Community Health Center and residency training in ocular disease, low vision, and primary eye care at UC Berkeley School of Optometry, VA Sierra Nevada location in Reno, NV.  Prior to Endeavor Eye Center, Dr. Chuang practiced optometry with Dr. Joanne Bachman and Dr. Sharon Williams at Franciscan Eye Clinic for 8 years. Dr. Chuang is board certified in medical optometry, a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry, and a member of Optometric Physicians of Washington and American Optometric Association.

When away from the office, Dr. Chuang enjoys playing tennis, traveling, and spending time with his wife and two daughters.

Nathan Gorham, OD

Dr. Gorham has provided patient care for 26 years, caring for military members as an Army Optometrist for the first six of those years. He served military members and their families by fitting specialty contact lenses and treating such diseases as glaucoma, diabetes, and macular degeneration. 

He grew up in the Proctor neighborhood, attending Washington Elementary, Jason Lee Junior High, and Stadium High School. His bachelor’s and doctorate degrees are from Pacific University School of Optometry at Forest Grove, Oregon. He enjoys singing in choirs and spending time with his wife and two children.
